Caravan Weight Check is a family owned business specialising in the mobile weighing of caravans, tow-vehicles, tradie trailers, boats, cars, horse floats, campervans, motorhomes or anything with 2 or 4 wheels up to 6 tonnes. We come to you and use our wireless scales to give you a comprehensive analysis of your tow vehicle and caravan/trailer including:

Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) = Maximum Allowable Weight of the Tow Vehicle

Gross Trailer Mass (GTM) = is the weight of a fully loaded caravan when it’s hitched up to the tow vehicle. (ATM - Tow Ball Mass)

Aggregate Trailer Mass (ATM) = is the maximum weight that the caravan is allowed to be when fully loaded and unhitched from the vehicle.

Gross Combined Mass (GCM) = Maximum Allowable Weight of Car + Caravan

Tow-ball Mass (TBM) – The load exerted on the tow ball of the tow vehicle

Available Payload (Tow vehicle) How much more weight can be loaded into the vehicle before exceeding the GVM

Available Payload (Caravan/Campervan/trailer) How much more weight can be loaded into the van before exceeding the GTM
